Dear Miss Guan Yuxin

Application Number:  129453712
Choice Number:  3

We are delighted to inform you that you have been made a Conditional Offer for a place on the MPH Public Health course at the University of Sheffield. Congratulations!
What happens now?

We will post a letter to you, confirming the offer and detailing the conditions. Please read these carefully. If you are living in the UK then your letter should arrive within a week of this email. If you are living outside of the UK then your letter should arrive within about 3 or 4 weeks of this email. Please note that we are not able to disclose offer conditions by email.
Once you have received your letter, you should let us know whether you wish to accept or decline the offer as soon as you can. There are three different ways in which you can do this:
1. Just send us an email confirming whether you would like to accept or decline the offer to: shefapply@sheffield.ac.uk
You should include the following information in the email:

- your full name
- application number
- title of the course you want to accept
- course choice number
2. Complete the Reply Slip (which will be enclosed with your letter), scan it and email a copy to: shefapply@sheffield.ac.uk
3. Complete the Reply Slip and post it back to us at the address below
If you are based outside of the UK, and you decide to post your reply slip to us, remember that it can take up to 4 weeks to reach us.
How can I send my documents?

As soon as you have met the conditions of your offer, you should inform the Admissions Service. If you have applied using the Online Application Form you can do this by re-logging into your form via: www.sheffield.ac.uk/postgraduate/online.html and attaching scanned copies of original documents to your application. If you have applied on paper you can send certified/stamped copies by post to the address below.
Please remember to include your full name, application number, choice number and course applied for with any documents that you send to us by post. This will help us to match your documents to the rest of your application and will prevent any delays with the application process.
Visa Application
If you will be studying in the UK you will need a visa. The UK government operates a visa application system called the Points Based System (PBS).Please read the information about PBS available at: www.sheffield.ac.uk/international/welcome/visasandimmigration/applying.html

To apply for a student visa you need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number from the university you want to study at. We will apply for this for you, but we can only do so when your offer becomes unconditional and you have accepted your offer.

You cannot apply for a student visa with a conditional or unconditional offer letter. If you apply for your visa with only a conditional or unconditional offer letter then your application will be refused.
What happens next?

1. Accept your offer as soon as possible (see above)

2. When you have sent us the supporting documents which show you have met the conditions of your offer, we will send you a CAS Application Email including a link to our online CAS Application System. The CAS Application System will contain the information about you that we will submit when we apply for your CAS number (see above). You will be asked to confirm whether or not this information is present and correct. If any information is missing or incorrect, you will be able to enter the correct information.

3. When you have confirmed your CAS Application Information, we will apply to the UK Border Agency (UKBA) for your CAS number. They will allocate you a CAS number, and then we will send you a CAS Notification Email to tell you that this is ready. You can find more information on the CAS application process at: www.sheffield.ac.uk/cas-application/index.html

4. When you have received your CAS number then you can complete the UK government online visa application forms. You can find more information on how to make your visa application at: www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/
This is an automatically generated email. Please do not reply directly to it. If you have any further questions, please click on the Frequently Asked Questions link below in the first instance.
